Balance
During your evaluation, your therapist will assess the vital systems responsible for maintaining your balance. The eyes, sensory motor and vestibular systems are assessed to create a treatment plan.
Each of our facilities has a Biodex Balance system that provides a comprehensive assessment of your balance as well as treatment and activities specific to your needs.
Fall Prevention
Physical Therapists are a valuable resource in the prevention of falls. We can review your home environment and provide recommendations for optimal movement and safety in your daily lives. You and your caregivers can be provided with education on fall recovery to maintain the safety for all caregivers in the home setting.
Gait Analysis
Your Physical Therapist will look at the way you walk and what kind of device you use. Adjustments and recommendations for continued mobility in your home can be made to maximize your independence. During your treatment sessions you will do exercises and activities that strengthen the muscles you need in order to walk with confidence.
