Center for Physical Therapy opened its doors in 1993 with the goal to provide quality care to patients in a comfortable & friendly atmosphere.

The dedicated staff helps strengthen patients and leads them through their recovery while “treating everyone like family.” Since 1993, Center for Physical Therapy supports their patients and the community.

Center for Physical Therapy was converted into the esteemed practice it is today from a small house. This homey environment extends throughout the facility through the staff’s friendly and approachable personalities and patient interaction. This independent physical therapy group run by two husband-and-wife teams prides itself not on only its state-of-the-art fitness equipment and its expert team of 18 physical therapists, but also on everyone’s level of commitment to patients. Each individual patient’s goals are always the priority, whether they want to get rid of pain or return to a sport.

The programs provided at Center for Physical Therapy are the essential aspects of the practice. The heated, indoor pool in Wappingers Falls features 32 aqua jets and is ideal for those suffering from athletic injuries, arthritis, or neck and back injuries. Six physical therapists specialize in pediatric care, working with children who suffer from developmental disorders.

In May of 2010, Center for Physical Therapy expanded to Hyde Park. And then in October 2014 the Hyde Park practice relocated into a beautiful Victorian building on Route 9, just north of Regina Coeli Church. The Hyde Park office also contains an indoor therapy pool, just as the Wappingers office does.

In September of 2016, Center for Physical Therapy expanded to Carmel. The new facility is located on Route 52 in the old Kent Library building.

Center for Physical Therapy strongly values the community ties that they have created over the years and are known to support local organizations and activities in the area. They have been involved in March for Babies, Goals for Hope, Miles for Hope, Dutchess County Classic, Food Bank of the Hudson Valley, and more. They intend to support and contribute to these organizations, as well as others, in the future. Center for Physical Therapy’s generosity in the community is a reflection of the quality care they strive to provide to their patients.
